Sullivan J. 1961 Gulo gulo June 7 Barrow, Alaska - 2 wolverines are kept in a cage outside our lab. Cages are of iron. Feat box with straw is provided. Water trough is placed 1 ft. above floor of cage. Animals are in separate cages. Apparently the animals are kept here to show to visitors - not for experimental purposes. June 14 Put up bird skins this afternoon; fed the carcass to the wolverines. Entire body of a longe[illegible] was eaten. Animal later took birds from the hand.
