Feeding Sullivan, J. 1962 Barrow, Alaska 1106 L. ~~~~ bounding thru grass - lost to N side 1107 L at SE corner - moves off into grass. 1108 Grass moves as L. Terraced thru it (seems to be an old runway). L. at NC corner 1109 Fight at NW corner - pursuit along N side → E then Pursued chaser pursues to W. 1110 Two L. bump into each other and N side. Spicule - Both bounced away. 1111 L. approaching N.C. 1112 L moving S on E side - Pairs botanists Talking 30 yards & SE - turn runs back to NE. 1113 Fight at NE corner - spicule - both run. 1114 L moving S on E side 1115 Fight + pursuit NW corner - spicule " - SW - bearing. 1116 " hot pursuit NE → SE one boldly other by jump other 2 or 3 remaining dog N & W side. 1117 Fight over 1118 RH at SE corner - runs to NE - RH climbs NE corner, back → SE corner - Zero starts to NE W → E↑ 1119 2 L meet NE corner - both turn and run back in direction they approached from. End tit: 1120 Churring voices from N.C. 1130 Capture and remove last lemming (yellowhead). Conclusions: 1. More than 1 adult in a small (2x2m) enclosure) seems to be too many!
