50 Journal Sullivan, J. 1962 Bartov, Alaska 7 August (cont) collerts in pockets. 8 August This morning checked I, II, IX+X. with Stevens this afternoon. To set III A,B; IV A, B. Lattice lines are quite wet - an inch of water along much of the lines (particularly IV B). Live Traps checked - no capture. Checked: I, II, IX, X, III A, B, IV A, B. With this many traps out (1,224) checking the lines consumes the better part of the morning. Today, Hiner, Stevens and I moved lines VII + VIII (Central Marsh). N BEACH RIDGE We used two stakes from the old line - only shifting them, as we worked down the line. With 3 men and a 100' steel tape the job went rapidly. Lines I, II, IX+X pulled in after supper. III A,B, IV A,B checked.
