grades to unit above 12 5.5 claystone, dark greenish gray, silty in basal half, soft at top. 13 1.0 ± Claystone - a zone of clstn? pellets in clstn. (Sample 1) Grades to units above & below. Is spottily sandy has chert grains & granules as well as rounded clstn. Also many red spots but can't tell if spherulites. May occur as irregular lens or beds in this part of section. Not in well-defined beds 14 2.7 Claystone greenish gray, with irreg thin stringers silt and very fine ss 15 0.1-0.2 Sandstone, very fine gr. clear fusible ss. Fe O B coating & stain. chiefly qtz, some chert. 16 7.0 - 8.05 Claystone, grading from greenish gray at base thru drzy to light gray + silty at top has irreg lenticel & stringhs 36
