(6) 7,4 Siltstone, sandy, grey-white, in irregular beds & lenses inter bedded with dark grey sandy shells. In basal part and grey sandy clstn above. (7) 9,0+ sandy Chiefly siltstone, hard, clayey, and silty to sandy clzystone, grey, weather's light gray, massive with blocky to subconch. fracturing. Becomes less sandy & silty upward. (8) 3,0+ Obscured by wash. Patches show clyststone, locally hard, silty, mottled light & dark gray. (9) 2,18 Claystone, minor silt, aluvion, soft with local areas very hard, irony, zones. (10) 0.6 Clzystone - zone of hard clstn, pellets, rounded, in softer clstn matrix, same clstn-filled tube-like structures - one seen 3/4" diam. (11) 8,0 Siltstone, light gray, massive, blocky to subconch. fracture, sandy in basal part. Becomes darker upward & more clayey At top is dark greenish gray 35
