in b2s2l 110 +/- foot, Includes varicolored chert + qtz pebbles up to 90onics - few of which seem in place, some show they were fractured prior to inclusion + fract. surfaces not polished. Also cley freqments + irreg sett r &lsth masses up to foot +/- in diam. locally with co2l (PS-1) 5A Thin, irreg, dk grzy slh parting loc. marks top caltc zone, above this ss ranges from med. to very fine upward with some loc coarse streaks and lominar cley shovels betwn about 13 +/- 25 feet. The cross-bedding in lower part is dominantly dipping ENE indicating WSW current. 5B upper 20'-25' has much interbedding siltst, + silty clthy locally, which is grzyish to purple red. So in this part of section we massive + appear to have cley coating on grains. Possible that upper 20-25' should be separate unit but gradethy lateral incut as well as vertical. Upper part washes with light yellow brown loc. 34
