Spring Creek section - SE-SE-NW-30-T6N, R5E, Sturgis quad (7.5) West bank of creek behind old Morrison farm. Probably bszl Lak-Up, Morrison. Measuring down from first massive sandstone on slope above stream cut. (Dip is under 10° here) 9) 3.8+ Sandstone, fine-grained, massive, quartzose, some scat. black minerals, weathers yellowish to brownish grey white. 8) 13.0 Covered - bszl 1.0t is sandy grey claystone which grades up to a dark grey to black plastic (nonzcle) claystone about 5' above bszc. Above this completely wash covered. 7) 2.0+ Sandstone, fine-grained to silty, with local inclusions of underlying siltstone (?) or similar blobs; chiefly platy, mvrg. bedded, weathers brownish to OB stain. Grades to unit below. 6) 6.5 Siltstone, finely sandy, delicately & obscurely cross-laminated, forms irregularly fracturing ledge at top of stream cut, weathers grey-white, is light grey. 22
