In gulley E of offset 10 to 12' of siltst, exposed. It is close siltstn with few thin shaly crb layers in upper 6 but lower 6 is mixed with finely sandy siltst, hwd, OB-weathering B In SS capped butte to N across road, the SS bed of offset I can be picked up in slope. Above this all clstu slope to contact, Clstns somewhat more colorful with pinks + reds in some of grey of section A, but still a definite vevicztod zone in upper 12 feet. Measuring down across contact from top of Butte. 6.0-8.0 Sandstone, massive, very fine-grained, little tabular struct. Silty at base, where lower 0.4 loc. fa impreg. weathers yellowish grey 1.0 Siltstone, grey, carbonaceous loc. at base 3.0 Claystone, light brownish grey, slightly silty, spherulitic. Upperal is bright O stain. 20
