shelly + finely silty 3.5 - 4.0 Claystone, light gray becoming saddy with OB stain at base and locally at top - spherulites (Sample 3) in both positions. 4.5 ± Shale, gray, carb flecks, with thin interbeds and lamine of siltstone which is loc. Fe impreg. Near top siltstn layer more numerous to become saddy. 2.0 Suddstone, very fine-grained, to silty, massive, buff weath with same OB stain + loc ironstone This unit holds hill crest in roadcut. Above it (strat), on SW side of gull cut is an shale with silt interbeds & poorly exposed (Still in Fall River) 10
