Part C - Fall River in road cut Begins at top of unit 3, Part A, which is nearly identical in road cut to its details in section A. 7.5 Chiefly obscured. Consists of thin bedded sandstone with interbods of silty, shaly ss + siltsst. Some SS beds are locally Fe impreg. SS are fine-gr + microccous, shaly silt + sl is also microccous gray to brownish, chrv flecks common. 10.0 covered 5.6 Sandstone, massive, fine-grained loc. microccous, friable, fairly clean. Some local Fe stain. Is gray-buff in road cut. 2.5 Shale, gray to dk gray, loc. brownish, with scattered chrv. frags. 2.0 Sandstone, fine-grained, friable, massive. with OB stained top - grades to overlying unit. 9
