Note 2. Beneath the exposed dk gray clstns is continuous wash and quartz except for few bare patches, one of which shows some white very sandy clstn about 6 to 10 ft below base measured section; another large patch hard green clstn well out from base section. * There is no siltstone cropping between the measured section. Note 3. In field N. of Fall River bluff is series of dug holes in a gray siltstone which locally has some diagnostic salt + shale at base, and, in pit nearest barns has at base a clayey sand full of black chert granules + small pebbles. This caft lzycr is in line with section A & lies approx 70 ft beneath the contacted siltst. bed - All this providing there is no faulting in valley between. This is base Locate silt zone
