11.5 Clzystone, silty to finely sandy, Bzzzl 4.0 dominantly z clzgozy, sandy siltst, banded purple and greenish gray, upper part chicly gray with purplish csst locally. 14.0+ clzystone, pertrizlly obscured by slope wash. Bzzzl 5.0 is a dark purplish gray weathering to purple outcrop. Is finely silty locally. Upper 2 to 4.0 ft is z sandy gray clzystone, rost obscured by slump. 33.0 Sandstone, chiefly fine to med- grained, tabular, x-lam, to cross-bedded), with thin interbeds and partings of shely light gray silty ss and siltstone. Ripple marks common also "worm" marks on some bedding planes. Some massive lent. beds ss. weather yellow brown. A 1.0 ft bed about 5' from top has coarse to granuthic stringers + loc. z gravelite layer cht + qtz + sandy siltstn. on 49
