2.9 Siltstone, thin bedded, finely laminated, gray + white siltstone Locally some thin beds fine gr silty ss intercalated. Dk gray laminae two shaly have ocky matter, weathers gray 1.5 Siltstone, lzm. dk + light as above, plant fragments, loc'l study; differs from above in being more massively bedded. Plant frags in lower pt. (In next cut down this is f.gr. ss locally) 1.9 Siltstone, massive in lower part, somewhat shaly in upper. Dk gray to black locally carbonaceous. locally = 0.9 Shaly gray siltst. corb frags., crumbly 0.6 Hard dk-gray-bk siltstone, plant rootlets + frags 0.4 As above but crumbly, locally somewhat clayey, Fall River - Lzkota contact.
