10.6 Chystone, chiefly red + purple red with focal green mottling. Upper 3' variable red+green, below this red which has scattered mid-course chert quartz. Some bright green + yellow mottling in lower 1/2. 12.8 Chystone, red with minor green mottling. Scattered mid-course grains of chert + quartz throughout. 1ft bed of green 1.5 to 2.5 above base 15.6 Szudstone, fine-grained, some inter stitial clay. Begins as sandy green gray chystone and grades in upper 2' to ss, with some interstitial clay, then to uncousal sand. Gray, weathes, with yellow mottled stain. Contains granules and small pebbles of chert and quartz. At base is hard calcic bed on 3' which crops locally as ledge. Is limey. 12
