(Offset here to E on to SS below ) Part B 34.0 Sandstone, variable in character but chiefly fine-med qr, with local stringers cht+qtzt cgl in basal 5-10ft. Massive to thinly bedded-cross bedded, weathers gray-white, yellow stain to red or locally irreg red stain. Some interc sandy, clasty loc in x-bedded. 3.0 Obscured by slump + wash, base of SS above in this interval. 10.5 Partially obscured. Slump and wash on claystone, dark gray at least in upper part, which crops in mud-cracked patches, Lower 1/2 completely obscured. 4.3 Weathered light gray claystone, some scathard coarse grains qtz and chert. Becomes dk gray in lower 0.4ft. Some yellow and OB stain. Polished pebbles 1.0 Sandstone, clzyy, coarse & conglomeratic, and sandy claystone, gray weather gray-white + yellow. Grains + gravules cht+qtz + fragments (or interstitial) white porcellante in upper 0.3. 10
