Cloverly Area #3 West of Cloverly, bedlands between road & Thermop-Mowry scarp. Starting in lower Rusty and measuring down. 0.2 Ironstone, scattered purplish brown to blue-black cones. 1.2' Shale, gray, silty 1.1 Siltstone, locally some shaly interbeds, Fe-stained 0.2-0.5 Ironstone, as above, locally it is a continuous layer 1.7 Siltstone, clayey to shelly grey, massive, with some yellowbrown-weathering platy interbeds. Locally a sandy siltst up to 2' in here. 0.5 Siltstone, gray, calc flecks, weathered yellow brown 1.4' Siltstone, shaly, becoming silty shale downward, gray to dk grey 1.0 Shale, black, papery, finely silty top
