1-40+ conglomerate and cqlte ss, chiefly former of granule size, down, gray and black chert. Weathers dark rusty brown, locally red stain. Is in well defined channel which thins out laterally into brown + dark gray liq. shale.. 510-? Shale, brown, salty lignitic + other clark weathering beds in slope to greenish gray Morrison like claystones Where channel cqlt., absent it is about 50't from chert bed into Morrison-like elstu with apparent gradation. Morrison has upper greenish gray part - then yellowish sandy, then lower half banded red and gray.
