0-3', then 3' ± lignitic silt-br shale + local SS lenses, basal 1'± yellow-stained cqls at top (whole cql. unit thickens eastward.) 0.5 Shzle, silty, brown, somewhat lignitic 1.0 Siltstone, massive, sandy forms gray-white weather ledge. 8.5 Shzle, brown to lignitic, silty with some interbeds hard gray to black siltstone, Upper 3' of brown lignitic shzle is conglomeratic with scattered gray chert pebbles. 7.0 Interbedded lignitic bra silty shale with lig ptngs and light gray weather-, gray siltstone & silty hard sh. 6.5 Cley stone, black, loc. silty, carb. loc. upper 1.5 becomes light gray.
