9.0 Sandstone, coarse and calcic at base to silty + argillaceous at top. Irregularly bedded, x 12m. ledgy, becoming somewhat shaly in upper part. Grades to units above and below. Weathers lite gray to yellowish gray with some streaks of stain. 6.0 Claystone, silty, and argillaceous siltstone, dark gray, with thin interbeds of fine-grained gray sandstone, which weathers with yellow stain. 8.0 Sandstone, fine-grained, locally argillaceous, with some lenses arg. / / acous siltstone. Grades to overlying unit. Beds 5' chiefly 2 SS (soft) beds silty plug. 4.0 Siltstone, argillaceous, grading upward to silty claystone + claystone. Gray becoming drewnish gray to black upward. A silty bed / phase of overlying units.
