Addition to preceding section (base of Eichers E22 Crooked Creek) Starting on top of unit I sandstone of preceding section and measuring up. (7) 0.8+ Sandstone, fine gr and siltstone intermixed, minor clayey siltst, weathers white with Fe br to orange, stain and some red splotches. Locally Fe specks in this zone. (6) 3.0 Claystone, black to gray; at base becomes somewhat glisty as it gets grayer + silther downward. (5) 6.0 Siltstone, massive to platy, gray with some shaly laminato, weathers buff to Fe brown becomes platier upward. Locally at base is 0.2 ironstone with gypsum (4) 12.0 Sandstone platy, with interbeds shaly siltstn + about 4 thin ironstones - one at base step. See above 20
