Nozv Crooked Creek - The "Heystack" zone Partial section across Cloverly contact with Greybull-Pustyn (EZZ Crooked Creek) Most of Cloverly exposed is a bedlends in soft highly colored beds, upper part chiefly red and purple claystone-like stuff with popcorn surface Cloverly, top only 1) 5.0 - ? Siltstone, argillaceous, massive, greenish gray, over with red becoming clearer gray about 5' from top. 2) 1.2 Siltstone, soft, shaly, forms yellow weath, small blocky to rounded step in slope gullies. Scrtti, crb fregs. 3) 4.8 Siltstone, massive, very fine-gr., some liverg, crb fregs. Gray, and tan, thegreenish gray with upper part tan, with Fe stained weath, orange bnm to red brm. Sampled 18.
