Thermopolis - #2. Beginning at Morrison contact, Morrison here is a light greenish gray silty, nowelk, cleystone which grades downward into massive friable greenish gray clest. SS. Morrison (in part) 1.0-? Cleystone, greenish gray, grading to silty and finely sandy clsth within 6". Upper 2 or 3 inches with yellow stain Cloverly 15.0 Conglomerate, massive, hard to friable, court + grit pebble cgl. with fairly well sized pebbles, Av. about 1/2 inch. Varied pebbles with gray + black predom. + numerous brown. Has lenses of lignitic silty to sandy shale and lig siltst. in basal part. Some sandy lenses come in in upper 5.0, laterally upper cgl contact grades + inter fingers with unit above. 1.
