plant remnins in overlying unit sparse this grades directly upward into olive green siltstone. 4) 6.5 Siltstone, massive, blocky ledge cuts hard beds up to 10 +, weathers buff with local Fe stain discont. 2) 3.0+ Claystone, massive, waxy gray, with varieg. red, with some scattered Fe specks. in upper few feet, not prolific but definitely in. 1) 1.5 At N end quartz 1 to 2 ft loose fine ss comes in 3.0 ft b/w contact in the red variegated claystone. SS green with black specs. 1) 4.5 Red variegated clstn, silty to a clayey siltstn.. No Fe specks - ? Purplish red clstn
