do not appear lower than about 10' above contact. This could indicate overlapping by Rusty but not enough is known locally about Fe-stone distribution to substantiate it. Sparkly is about 30'+ most places but thins locally. Also has basal 2 to 5 feet of cut granule cgl not unlike the "Pryor" type cgl of the Thermopolis region. Beneath Sparkly the usual gradation from black clstn into greenish clstn then more brightly colored, calcareous Morrison - with no visible block. Locally a fine-grained ss channel body comes in about 15 feet beneath the sparkly. Includes dk gray & brownish shely ss & silty sh interbeds in lower part, weathe buff & brown and is locally as much as 15+ feet thick. Hard green silky clstn layer between it and Sparkly locally - may = green ledge in preceding section. ~ at least is about in same position. The Cloverly-Rustybed contact is very sharp & clear-cut throughout the Middle Fork valley area, with black shales and siltstones resting either directly 71
