Peycco area West Middle Fork Pawdow River #1, SW cor, sec. 30, T.43N, R.83W., NE dipping ss ledge N of rd. First section roughly 400 ft N rd where top of SS obviously rises in section. Slope wash. 4) 30.0 Sandstone, massive, fine to coarse- grained, x-lzm, loc. friable, pitted streaked pinkish brown to red, loc. mostly a gray-white. Numerous chips bleached clstu up to grenule size in lower 10.0 ft. 3) 2.5 Sandstone, very fine-grained, grading upward to siltstone. Locally no clearcut contact with underlying massive SS, but laterally thin sandy clay silty clay comes in between the two. Weathers gray white, yellowish to orange steln. 1- 2) 8.0+ Silt, black-, fissile, some thin interbeds + lzmtnz of silt, silt layers "worm" casts & trails, weather olive gray 1) 0.5+ Fe impreg., siltst. with "worm" markings. 65
