unit of qtz + colored cht. in fine grains to granules with scattered polished pebbles (Sample bez full). Weathers like a claystone but relatively little clay in matrix. Becomes clayey at top + grades to overlying unit. 4,0 Intermixed silty to sandy clsty, bottom 1.5 grading to friable, loc. clayey, czlc. Sand with granules, scattered dk-brown to orange-brown masses chert grain to cqlte, limestones, hard weather in concret-like masses. Color variegated purple- gray, some red + yellow 6,0 Chiefly claystone, with loc silty to sandy parts, contains rounded white weath. czlc. concretions up to 6" ± diam. Viz., greenish gray with purple, some yellow spots. Silty-sandy is green, purple commonly clayey 6,0 Intermixed fine sandy green slocs + sandy and silty claystone - red in zone. 6.
