1.5 Sandstone, fine-grained, sparkly, weather to crumbly buff to brown lodge. 3.8 Siltstone, light gray clayey with orange splotches ferromous stain. Darker gray at top appears to grade to unit above. Locally spherulite. ~2?~ 3.13 Shaley chystone, tough, graded gray + black with plant rootlet like impressions in lower 0.4, above plant frogs plentiful, loci carbonized, thin plugs lignite, grades into fissile black shale in upper foot. Powdery yellow stain on lig. part. 3.5 Siltstone, gray at base to greenish gray above, weathers sharply, is clayey in lower part. Local orange + O-Red stain from Fe- these locally spherulitic. 0.1 to 0.2 such zone at top is heavily spherulitic.
