J 2.7 Interbedded thin beds fine gr. ss in tone, with light grayish shale[311+st] Whole zone highly colored in bands by Fe pink, red, yellow & oranges. Laminated to x-12m, Top ss bed & some others Fe impreg, shaly silts splotches pink & yellow stains. Along strike this unit locally gets sandler, has local ss lens 1.0 thick. I 24.4 Thinly interbedded fine-grained sandstone andl gray to light gray shale & shaly siltstone. Lamination common but some sands locally massive little lenses. Fe yellow stain common in ss. Much worm tracking scattered few frogs. SS layers chiefly 0.2+ under with exceptions local lenses, Upper 0.5 chiefly ss & is heavily Fe impreg. VB + OB. Bszl 2-4 feet generally mostly ss with bottom foot Fe impreg and bszl 0.2+ a hard 12.
