At base is 0.1-0.2 of hard Fe impreg. OB study siltstone which sticks out as thin ledge. 3.5 Siltstone, shelly, locally approaches silty shale. Brownish gray with pinkish cast greying to black. Locally stained purplish in upper 1.0t Finely dissemin. carb melter & scattered Fe red- weather spots which locally give it reddish cast. The structure not laminated but looks loc. as tho was once so then thoroughly stirred up. Base 0.2-0.3 ove red (Fe stained prob.)
