W - 22 Wyo. Rt. 111 road cut across N. end Beetlodge Mts, chiefly in section 20, T. 54 N., R. 62 W. Part A. Starting top big ss in first cuts w crest, measuring down to break in cut at gully. Grass roots o 53-? Sandstone, chiefly med gr, massive cross-laminated to cross-bedded, with local thin beds and lenses of intercalated light gray shale. A laterally variable unit which is locally almost entirely sandstone but breaks up into thin lenses of ss in gray shale laterally. In upper 15-20't, above cut there is more ss in wash for about another 15't. Basal contact irreg, with small slurry channels & about 5' local relief. N 1.0 - 5.0 Sandstone, fine gr, massive, grading to siltstone and crayer siltstone; a massive unit, locally some irreg. bedding in uppermost ss 9.
