Moving down from within lake, Starting at top of massive sandstone that forms lower cliffs in hill. 72.0 Sandstone, chiefly massive, cross-laminated, medium-grained weathers yellow grey to buff in lower 50'+ , darker buff to O.B above.. Contains local zones intraform type Cq1 with big chunks of soft pisty X bedded SS. - one of these locally about 18' from top 2nd a lens locally 4' from base. Base/ 3' hzs scattered cht + qtz pebbles 7.3 Conglomeratic zone, variable laterally, contains med. gr SS with chert,qtzt = cs grenules, pellets SS+sandy clsty, grades into loose unit above. 48
