common of top. 13.0 Sandstone, med gr massive, cross, laminited, with layers + scattered pobbles (seldom more than 1/2") clt qtzite and some local zones with silt stone + ss pobbles; lather gen. lecutular. locally has Fe stained upper surface, + Fe lined cavities in upper ft. 2.5+ Soft zone chiefly obscured, locally a gray white sandy sandy silt, 5,2+ Sandstone, massive x lam, med. gr., variable in thickness along strike, highly lenticular, weathers buff to brown local pinkish stain. 5.3+ Soft zone varying in thickness with channeling of ss. above + thickening of ss below. Is chiefly obscured but spot sampling shows nothing but shelly, silty ss with interbeds (thin) of Fe impregnated ss. Weathers to wash of white, pink stained silty snd. 44
