W-7 Old caved mine entry just 1/2 mile E Aladdin, Just N. of Wyo Rt 111 in center N 1/2, SE 1/4, sec 28 T 54N, R 61W caved entry in soft beds Part A 33.5 Sandstone, massive, mod qpr, x-ltm., weathers light gray to buff locally with pinkish rdst, finely soft to friable. Beszl 6.0+ contains rdsts plant stems and conc. Fe in oval cones + stringers. Near top scat pedsbe concs. 0.5 to 2.5+ Conglomeratic zone. Mixture of large blocks and poorly rounded pieces of sandstone, hardy plty, siltstone, pellets claystone + silty claystone, chert + qtsite granules and a few polished pebbles. Evidence of much plant matter, now Fe stained on weathered surface cavities some Fe conc. Matrix chiefly fine to coarse SS. Underlying ss appears to gradl abruptly into this cgl zone.
