11.6 Shzle, dark gray to black, becom- ing finely silty in upper part, and somewhat less plastic than that in lower 3 or 4 feet. About 3' from base begins to weather out in chips + trees begin. At top is ferruginous silt, locally concretion avg. Fe 12ppm, 0.12-0.5 upper 3.0 shzle scidcritic + yellow offlor. 8,5 Shzle, black, finely silty to little silt, clay, some yellow offlor. Baven (zyer siderite concs at top 0.4+ 11,4 Leveling up slope to silty ferrised zone. In creek bed parts of this zone black shzle as below About 0.4 silty beds at top. 6.5+ Shzle, as below, to zone sideritic concretions in gress roots, their posifion approx but within 2'. In lower part are scattered small concs, weather in bluish-white chips as do fish + chert ones lower in section. 27
