(#4) 15.0 Sandstone, fine- to mod- grained, upper 7 to 10' it is massive x-lam, weathers buff with much local brick-red & o-red +orange stain. Lower 8-5't even bedded to thin bedded in beds 0.5 to 2.0, locally with some shely ss pts. Not much bedding plane mkr in contrast to other sands. 3.1 Shale, carbonaceous, pzpwr sh in upper foot grading to slicked carb loc, shely clay with some silt. (bzzl 0.5 is gray red-stained) to pink clay sh crab flocks; silty. 0.7 Shzly, light gray silty with thin bed fo impreg, fincl 1/2m ss at top. This has worm tracks & borings. 2.91 Shale, dk gray to black. at base to gray et top, becoming progressively more silty upward. Silt occurs interlam. with shale. 21
