Lower 1 to 2ft broken by interbedds grzy clayey siltstone, czrb frzgs. 1.4 Shzle, grzy, finely silt, to szdm few czrb flecks in lower part. (Sample 2) Hvd. 0.3 Concretionary Fe bed, hvd, 4.6 Silt shzle, znd some (2mmzted silt, latter chiefly Fe impreg. 0.2 Fe zone 1.1 from base znd same thinner beds. Fairly persistent one 1.0 from top. Most wormikd. Substr is gray to lito grzy clayey. 1.6 Inter(2mm)ted - fine gr ss + siltstone with Fe impreg, ledges 0.1 to 0.3 thick, 2 of these loczly prominent. This section continued on p. 16 12
