Upper 2+ feet hard silty Claystone, red and gray. 9.5 Claystone, green, some gray mottling in lower part. Bedtonitic from about 2:15 above base for 30 or more ft Becomes lighter + siltier at top and grades thru sandy claystone to unit above. 3.0 Claystone, sandy, light gray to gray white with greencast cast locally. 3.4 Sandstone, fine-gr, clayey friable, some yellow- weather., hard layers. about 1' from top which locally contain thin irreg. layers of chert. (this unit thickens to SW) Locally contains polished chert pebbles. 2.2 Claystone, sandy, minor clacey sandstone, gray white, some yellow streaks.. May also be.
