Locally in road cut some of thin sands coalesce to form 4 foot ledge. Gully comes in from east end wash terminates outcrop of this unit. South across gully, top of 7.6 SS above can be located and beneath it is 23 feet of same type SS to slope wash at base of ledge. Presume that SS beds thicken to exclude 18 shales in at least upper part of interval above. From top of 7.6 SS across gully to S. 23.0 Sandstone as in 7.6 unit 15.0 Slope wash on non-resisted beds, some gray shale float in basal 4 feet 5.7- Sandstone fine gr., locally silty & friable, weathers yellow gray to ye brown
