4.0 Sandstone, mod qty massive, forzole forms, broken jointed lodge, is yellow to yellow gray, some carb streaks & local thin layer x bedded slizly sand 1' from base. 4.0 Shale, dk gray to dk brownish gray finely silty, weathers gray to purplish gray, many plant fragments and local thin zones plant accumulation making liquid shale. 2.5 Coal (liqute), and shizly liqute upper 1.0+ has considerable black coal soft coal, lower 1.5 chiefly slizy clay, liqute. 1.5 Shale dk brownish gray, weathers light gray, plant frags becoming sandy at base 1.8 Shale, sandy, gradung to slizly sandstone with thin inter beds shale.
