Sep. 22 -99 Friday. My first vacation trip is at an end. Today I leave by 12.30 P.M. train for Kansas City. Found that the boxes had not yet gone by E. Express or gave the Adams Exp. another order. The weight must go to Washington. Both Mrs. Hantke that I could not call to see her. Sep 23-99 Saturday Arrived in Kansas City at 7.20 A.M. After breakfast seemed my ways to Chicago over the C & O R.R. then called on Mr. X and Mrs. Butts. Left for Chicago at 6 P.M. On the train met Prof. Hershland and talked over our late trip until Centreville was reached at 11 P.M.
