In this [illegible] county in the fifties Mr. Johnson & Pete J Laramie came across a herd of a hundred or so Elk. The former on this tree cried one if he had had the assistance of the latter, the entire herd could have been captured. As it was one old beast who could not run as fast as the others shared fifty which made the horse man drop a little anorth that the herd should all avoid the trap.
