Larus glaucescens. Glaucous-winged Gull. Not common.
L. brachyrhynchus. Short-billed Gull. Not very common.
Accipiter velox. Sharp-shinned Hawk. Seen.
Haliaeetus leucocephalus alascanus. Northern Bald Eagle. Seen.
Empidonax difficilis. Western Flycatcher. One shot, another seen.
Cyanocitta stellari. Stellar Jay. Rare.
Corvus corax principalis. Northern Raven. Saw several.
Junco oreganus. Oregon Junco. Rather common.
Melospiza cinerea rufina. Sooty Song Sparrow. Shot several.
M. lincolni. Lincoln Sparrow. Shot one, saw another.
Passerella iliaca unalaschensis. Townsend Sparrow. Shot one.
Olbiorchilus hiemalis pacificus. Western Winter Wren. Saw several.
Parus rufescens. Chestnut-backed Chickadee. Saw one flock.
Ixoreus naevius. Varied Thrush. Saw several.
There were fewer birds on this bay than on any other that we have visited this season.
