Then follows a part of Hackle shale, probably the begining
of the Middle Cambrian shale series. This is
roofed over one to two W of first house in
N side of St Alans Bay road. The Hackle shale
is directly north of first home or rise to S of same
road. I should locate this place on the G.S.O. map
measuring to the clytl. in Adams and allowing about
15 degrees to get the full thickness for the St. Alans shale.
