Started in at the Downton enl[eromente] localiz[ion],
11/3 miles, 3/4 mile south of Broadge. First examined
the feet block of Lower Cambrian white li. It is of
the same li as the great block of Broadge. Shows
much flow structure and the moring ature and the anormy.
dolomite fragmets. Asked Prindle when this meta-
orphism took place and after looking over the block
he said before the time of Siltural in the Downton
enl[eromente]. Everyone who has seen these masses
comes to the conclusion, and yet no one knows of a
Cambrian orogenic time. One is led to to this con-
clusion because of the great metamorphism of the
block, and another one close by with the same
flow structure, contracted with the other li blocks
more are seen there flow structure and none
are drawn out. Neither knowing if from similar
li blocks in the Clekstin[er] fault N.W., two of which
have also been. How these great blocks got into the
downton enl[eromente] is not known, unless they slide
