Brandm, Sep. 26-1922. Tuesday. Stopped last night at Hinesbur. This morning there is some ice on the truckety ornith. There were therefore a heavy frost last night. The trees are beginning rapidly to take on the colors of a brilliant fall. The day is bright and the scene is bracing us. This morning we went north five miles to see if one could get more fruits in the Brillistm. All is or ochistme here as to be more hokelan than farther north. At 11.05 are head south for Brandm via Bristol, Middlebury and Salisbury. Arrive at the [illegible] Inn at 1.50 P.M., waited for the Keiths until 2.10 and then had dinner. When one came out Keith had telephoned that he would meet us at 3.30. He turned up at 3.45. The three of us then started for the Brillistm formation about 1 1/2 miles north and south a little of the railway where it turns once to this mile. Here we saw several cephalopods logs and smaller, but still more closely septate, tent for forebore to the inch. Also saw me small Ophileta (have it) and one at midas large as the me did in July 11, 1922. The latter had about 40 whorls. Also one Erinoid stem about me nick log with a large central canal = acysted stem.
