"The son of Hugh Omdson near Alto lake at my mentle" seems the local bit is that many years ago an old man, a young man and a boy collected from on this farm and that he could show in the locality. Denton went with him and when left to the place he... and behold he had Earth's, fes- timata, Glenrds and Azolite, June Celestin Lons. Later on he got a few more pieces. On the map I have marked this locality (10) The collectors referred to where Valertt, his father in law Rust and Celestus son Charles. In that the Bull gave formerly Valerett's report. There must be considerably more Celestin here than at the Parkers ledge seen yesterday. In the afternoon at the great Devonian cleft, south of Redledge. Here one area in cleft is 60 to 70 feet long at least 15 foot three or mistum face, and other 3ft to 40 ft can be seen going into cleft ledge. It is bounded on three sides by cleft. What it lies upon can't be seen but presumably the slate. A little farther down the ledge Heck slate is exposed, presumably the high gate. It looks more Celestin like and in other Calomitic 65 x 15 x 30 ft section face of feet (i.) slate, Li may part on slate B 1276
