penance. Some years ago, the channel $14 per mile. It is now just about $21 per mile. About Bristol and in a long distance south is the Horsfield But made of Luron Cambrian quartzite = Cheshire. The mountain is an anticlinal cut off on the east side by a fault. In about the Striveling area, the Psilugries are thrust upon the Upper Cambrian. In a long distance north of Rufford and the eastern side of the valley between the Green But fort- hills and the Faenic range has the Ruff and alluvial and marbles. These are all of Cambrian age, Luron Cambrian below and Upper Cambrian above. Along the western side occurs the marble of Clays age. Where I saw it last year was at West Rufford.
