abundant biotite (N.S. may biotite derived from rapidly eroded bentonite) Calcareous lens frequently set in orange red shale. Trepo. & Cryps abundant, difficult to break out of massive blocks. Cryps. like Stictopora with similar branching but rounded branches instead of developing as stems. [Lithology similar to gyrose calcareous overlying Red Knobs "marble" member in Fairlandville area.
