"beds 2 to 6 feet thick, separated by 1/2 inch shale partings. - 16 feet covered by glacial sands and conglomerates above 10 to 15 feet Ordovician rocks here dip about 5 or 6° to the NNW although there seems to be a shallow syncline North across the face of the Quarry so that the dip varies slightly. Gentle flexures in late.
