5/26/95 - Kentucky ? has a series of excell. outcrops from Maysville to Covington. Section seems to "shale" up from Maysville to southwest edge of Covington. Rope seems to expand (shale) upwards into overlying lower part of Bellvue, Most of the shale beds thicken & thin fine, roughy l/s. beds and some silt 60' 100' Deltat Hickm + thin to pinchout 7 4' to 2" ! in 150 yards 90' ls with thick shale interbeds 160' Drone to Flemingsburg to try to locate a Holland exposure there, but we were unable to locate it; seems to be all grass covered. Perhaps Holland's description of locality is not correct?
